The WWE Divas will be in action as both the Womens and Divas Championship are at stake. Randy will defend his WWE Title in a Triple Threat match against John Cena and Triple H. CM Punk will put his World Heavyweight Title on the line against Jeff Hardy in a match that's sure to be a highlight reel. And that's just three matches of the eight total, so the 2009 Night of Champions PPV results could produce many new championsLate in the WWE Title contest, John Cena had knocked Orton onto the mat and prepared for a Five Knuckle Shuffle. As Cena went back towards the ropes, HHH pulled the ropes down causing Cena to spill out of the ring. HHH locked in a Sharpshooter on Orton, who was in pain but refused to tap out. John Cena re-entered the ring and put half of his STF submission on Orton as well. Orton appeared to be tapping out but the ref didn't call for the bell.

Legacy soon hit the ring and attacked both Cena and Hunter. Cena went to use the Attitude Adjustment on Rhodes, with Orton rushing over to hit a surprise RKO.
